Dungeons and Dragons, over looked art.

This is an Ice Dragon. he is nearly as old as the eldest dragon on the other picture. It probably took someone hours to paint this model with a magnifying glass and a tiny paint brush. Take a close look it is very detailed.

D&D has been around since the 70's. People who aren't familiar with the game would never think to look at it as art.

The picture is of a baby dragon and it's mother. There are thousands of years separating the two. Note the difference in size. The other picture is of a Beholder one of the most feared monsters in the game.

Fashion

I'm not that into fashion but that is a cool looking dress.
I wonder what this guys plan is. Is it the shoes?
This picture to me shows a lost girl. Her unkempt Hair suggests that she has been outside for a few days. The marks on her face show that she can be hurt but is tough. The flower in her hair implies that she is beautiful the way she is.

The Human Struggle

These two people just want to be near each other, but they can't get as close as they would like due to the mask separating them. It seems sometimes that there is a mask separating people especially when it comes to race.

The Old Lady

My Girlfriend is awesome. I call her my old lady to get under her skin. I'm older than she is. She's letting me make this blog site with her sweet new iMac. I figure I should put her on it being that I couldn't make it (by it i'm not refering to this blog. It is general) with out her.

Caught You Slippin' Matt

I found this video of my friend Matt Williams whilst watching his band Thunder Monkey on YouTube. Pretty good man. Matt plays at Miller's on Thursdays (shameless plug) if you yell it enough times i bet he'll play billie jean

Sound Man For the Belefonte

This is Seu Jorge recording the soundtrak for The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou. He does acoustic versions of various David Bowie songs in Portuguese. This one is "Life on Mars" one of Bowie's most popular songs.

Klauss Moments

The great Klaus. One of the best Characters in this movie

Public Art

“Frozen Assets” was created by Matthew Farley, a senior from Wichita majoring in sculpture, and incorporates arcs made from about 1,000 empty water bottles — less than the number of bottles collected each week on campus by KU Recycling. Farley’s work examines the connection between the ways Americans view and use water in their everyday lives.

Falling Water.

Designed by Frank Llyod Wright in 1934 in southwest Pennsylvania, Falling Water was partially built over a waterfall, and is also known as the Edgar J. Kaufmann Sr. Residence. This is my favorite piece of architecture.

Olivia the dog and Oprah the cat caught my photographic eye.

Oprah the Cat!

She posed real well for these pictures.

Dance! Go to jail in the Philippines and this is what you'll get to do. I think it's awesome.

"Poor Pluto"

On August 24, 2006 IAU defined the word planet. Pluto was not included in the the definition. Poor Pluto he is out there all by his lonesome. In this Diorama Pluto is set apart from the rest of the planets who appear to be having fun. Pluto is frowning because he is not "included".

Ween's The Mollusk in legos!

The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou: It's Art!

Estaban before he was chewed,
not swallowed whole by the Jaguar Shark.

This rainbow seahorse was given to Zissou his first mate Klauss' nephew
Inspiration before finding the Jaguar SharkWe found no shark, even with the help of Stewie.
